Garment Care
In order to maintain the functionality of your Medical Compression Stockings (MCS), there are a few steps you should follow:
- Stockings should be washed daily after use; regular washing will not damage them
- For washing, use a mild detergent without fabric softener, brighteners or stain removers; wash at any temperature up to 104°F (40° C)
- Avoid the use of a dryer, iron or radiator
- Reduce drying time by placing the washed stockings on a thick towel and firmly pressing out excess moisture
- Clean the silicone bands on the self-supporting tops with alcohol regularly to improve adhesion – Learn more here
- Store the stockings at room temperature and protect against humidity and direct sunlight
